What is a Trebuchet?


This is a trebuchet. A trebuchet is a lever with a counter weight on one end and a sling on the other. These gigantic siege machines were used in the middle ages to destroy castle walls that were up to twenty feet thick. A real trebuchet can throw a projectile up to 500ft, but this Lego trebuchet can only throw about 25ft.
